My name is Alex Cantrell. I am proud to call the area west of the DFW metroplex where I grew up. Alongside my wife, Ashley, and our two daughters—one in college and the other just starting her educational journey—we cherish our family time together.
My career in the medical field began early, as I enrolled in EMT school during my senior year of high school. Shortly after graduating, I pursued my passion further by attending Paramedic school. This path eventually led me to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I was stationed in Washington, D.C., and on the Houston Ship Channel. Following my military service, I transitioned into Healthcare Management, ultimately becoming the person I am today. This led me to starting Veterans Serving Veterans.
My passion is to provide veterans with exceptional service in any way possible. I believe in fostering a compassionate environment where our staff provide the best service for our hero’s.
When I’m not at work, my family and I love exploring everything water-related—from relaxing at the beach to scuba diving. We also enjoy traveling and creating lasting memories together.
I was born and raised in Texas, and I’m proud to still call it home. For over 13 years, I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical field, dedicating my career to helping others with compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
As the wife of a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, I deeply appreciate the sacrifices service members and their families make. These experiences have fueled my passion for supporting the veteran community and standing alongside my husband, Alex, in his mission to serve those who have served through Veterans Serving Veterans.
My family is my greatest blessing and the heart behind everything I do. Alex and I are proud parents of two incredible daughters—one newly married and in college, and the other just starting Kindergarten. In our free time, you’ll usually find us near the water—it’s our happy place. Whether it’s the beach or a quick weekend at the lake, being near water is where we recharge.
I strive to live each day with gratitude and purpose, trusting in God’s plan and remembering to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
