 Biography 

Alex S. Cantrell, Chief EXecutive Director/Founder

My name is Alex Cantrell. I am proud to call the area west of the DFW metroplex where I grew up. Alongside my wife, Ashley, and our two daughters—one in college and the other just starting her educational journey—we cherish our family time together.

My career in the medical field began early, as I enrolled in EMT school during my senior year of high school. Shortly after graduating, I pursued my passion further by attending Paramedic school. This path eventually led me to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I was stationed in Washington, D.C., and on the Houston Ship Channel. Following my      military service, I transitioned into Healthcare Management, ultimately becoming the Which Led me to starting Veterans Serving Veterans.

My passion is to provide veterans with exceptional service in any way possible. I believe in fostering a compassionate environment where our staff provide the best service for our hero’s.

When I’m not at work, my family and I love exploring everything water-related—from relaxing at the beach to scuba diving. We also enjoy traveling and creating lasting memories together.
